You Are What You Eat!
Let's break bread...
Everyone has to eat to survive, wouldn't you agree? We have a variety of choices some good and some bad. What We choose to eat affects our body short and long term. Hair, skin, and nails need the proper nutrients to grow in length, glow naturally, and gain length. Today, I am going to chat with you about whats good to eat for hair, skin, and nails.
Healthy Hair is a Thirst Trap!
When you don't drink the proper amount of water for your body other than your organs suffering, your hair becomes dry and dull, your skin is ashy, and your nails are brittle and tend to break more frequently. So to get the body going and hair flowing drink a glass of water before your coffee or smoothie every morning and all throughout the day. This is a major key to healthy hair. "How will I know if I am drinking enough water?" Your skin will have a beautiful glow! The products you use on your hair will last a lot longer than normal. As for your nails, less breakage which means your manicures will last longer.
KALE YEA! GO GREEN!
No, not recycle your hair, but eat your green vegetables! Spinach, kale, broccoli, and avocados (yeah I know avocados are a fruit, just go with it.) are just a few veggies that are amazing for the hair, skin, and nails. They are loaded with potassium, protein, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A, not to mention is great for the waistline.
Other nongreen veggies that are high in protein Lean meats, fish, beans and nuts are rich in protein that strengthens the hair, makes the hair soft and stops and prevents hair breakage. Salmon is my favorite seafood for healthy hair. It offers a nice sheen to my hair and has helped in the past with growth.
LOYALTY, LOYALTY, LOYALTY!
Small lifestyle changes in your diet can take you a long way. But you have to remain loyal to the changes in order to see the results. Most people expect a major change in 3 days, but that is not a realistic expectation. It has to be a decision to change for the best. I mean you can enjoy life and indulge in food, believe me, I eat what I want at times. But just keep in mind the long-term effects it has on your hair, skin, and nails. Small adjustments make a great change!
