3 Things to Do for Better Hair!

Here are 3 things that you need to cultivate healthy thriving hair.

WATER/ HYDRATE

Everyone needs water to cleanse and to drink. Drinking the proper amount of water will increase growth.  Sugar infused drinks dehydrated your body, as well as adult beverages. So if you participating in happy hour a couple of nights out the week or every weekend rest assure your hair will feel the effects of it. Drink water, there is no other way around it. You can also eat your water, tomatoes, oranges, watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupes and raspberries all contain 80% or more of water. These foods and more hydrate your body along with H2O. So not only should you drink well but eating well is essential.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

Read labels. Research.  Every friend, blogger, or brand ambassador speak from their own personal experience when it comes to recommending products My curl pattern is not the same as a 4C or 3A  curl pattern so quite naturally I find products that work well my 3C/4A hair texture. If my Sister and I have different curl patterns and we have the same parents. Quite naturally, the blogger or brand ambassador will not have the same as yours. I recommend you research and find what works well with your hair and body. Maybe the product won’t work well for you because your hair doesn’t agree with a particular ingredient. So before you pull out your wallet and invest in a new product that promises all these wonderful results, make sure its design for you and your hair.

HAIRSTYLIST:

Find a hairstylist that specializes in the things that you want for your hair. If you want to transition to natural and your current Stylist does not, its OK to find one who does. If you are looking for a new Stylist who can grow your hair than search for one who can. The mistake we make with our hair is that we chair hop and we are often inconsistent with maintenance and We expect our hair to be great. Sometimes we listen or watch every Youtube video out that there, but there is no help like professional help. You wouldn’t dare ask a mechanic to deliver your baby? So why would you ask an unlicensed person to care for your hair? Take your hair care serious and your hair will be good to you!
