Love.

Ever look at someone and wonder how in the world did you end up marrying them or even being friends with someone. I do. I have several people in my life who are totally opposite of me and its cool. They help me to see life differently and vice versa. Alot of my friendships or relationships I know for a fact came from God. Because if you know me. I'm a no nonsense, right is right and wrong is wrong kinda woman. But I offer a whole lot of grace and if you know, you know.

Sometimes God will lead you to some people with a dark past or just living colorful life to be a light, unconditional love or a reminder of God's love. Like Hosea, God called Hosea (which name means to save or deliver) to marry a promiscuous woman with children. Hosea being an obedient servant did and went on to follow instructions from the Lord which included naming children that symbolized the state of the land. Hosea's life was not his own and He didn't marry the social norm, I'm pretty sure marrying a promiscuous woman was frowned upon in God’s eyes, But God had his reasons and instructed Hosea to do so. Hosea allowed God to use his life as a reminder of who God is and who the bride is. Hosea looked beyond her fault, married and had children with someone who was unlikely to accepted by the people of the land. Talk about true unconditional love. God looks beyond our faults everyday, love us unconditionally no matter what season we are in or how dark our past is. He not only loves us but He sends people who loves us even when it appears that no one else could love us right where We are. Hosea was symbol of Christ's love for us, a love that came to save and deliver us. We are and should be an everyday symbol of his love.

Challenge- Be obedient to God, Love the unlovable, love through the dark past.

If we can be honest We all are brides with a dirty past. So unworthy, but yet we receive his unfailing love everyday.
